I sailed the boat last week from Fidji to New Caledonia, port moselle.

Hemma is a cutter rigged ketch, constructed in Orust, Sweden by Rexmarin AB. When I bought her in Lindingö, Sweden, she was been sailing in the Baltic Sea, and every winter on the shore. As I was looking for a decent blue water cruiser, who had a versatile equipment for sailing short handed, a volvo penta 31md with 2600 hours, and a decent deplacement, a 3kw bow thruster, so she ticked all the boxes. Also the transom and the center cockpit were all plus, as I was planning to sail with my wife and son, so safety first. Modifications were made before we left( new head/cutter sail, solar panel sun awning, new agm batteries, pacific plus windpilot) and while we sailed from Sweden to Holland for the standing rigging replacement, we found that she was quite fast and sea kindly. So, after various replacements under way (new automatic pilot, overhaul motor, carib hypalon dinghy etc) we sailed her to Cartagena, Colombia. Since then, I sailed with friends, family and on holidays with my wife and son towards Mexico, and further on the pacific until Fiji, where she is now. As for me, I have caught enough big fish, seen enough salt water and beautiful sundowns, so I am going to become a land dweller again after 4 years of cruising.
The boat has been a terrific companion, and the extra equipment as inflatable paddle board, pliable brompton bike, dive gear comes with it. Also the tools ( 220v, with a phoenix victron 1600 w on the solar panels) you can independently work with as there is sun,exept the welding machine. Interior is original, as is the galley. Hull could use a shine, and the teak deck has been maintained. Any more serious questions, mail me.
