It also makes boarding and disembarking much easier at floating docks by not needing to climb a shaky ladder. Plus, it allows guests and crew to move around the yacht with less constriction when there are activities in this area. 

The other rare attribute is how Horizon designed the yacht to have BOTH a large country style kitchen AND a lower helm. The helm is concealed, when not in use, so as to not dominate or break up the space but it’s every bit as functional as the main flybridge helm.
