About Foran’s Marine

Forans Marine has been active in the Marine Industry for more than 45 years. Can accommodate 115 seasonal and 10 transients slips, c/w power & water on the docks. It is located in a sheltered Harbour between Hamilton and St. Catharine’s, on the southwest shore of Lake Ontario. A 420? breakwall and lighthouse identify the entrance channel to the harbour. The prime location, in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula Wine Country, makes it very easy to reach by land or water from any direction – a delightful place to visit! The business section of Grimsby is about 1 mile from the harbour. The nicer and a little shorter walk into town is via Ontario St. On Main St. you will find area facilities: several banks with bank machines, grocery stores, deli, variety and drug stores. Grimsby has restaurants for anything from fast food to French Cuisine. The liquor store is opposite the IGA, at the corner of Balsam Lane and Elm St. The beer store is in the Grimsby Square Plaza on Main Street at the west of the town, about 11/2 mile from the marine. If you need medical assistance, West Lincoln Memorial Hospital has an emergency department on E. Main St., a couple miles from the marine.
